All the photographs were taken by a professional digital camera through the viewfinder of a vintage Kodak Duaflex camera produced in the 1940's and 1950's. The effect is stunning, producing soft and textured photographs that could never be replicated in digital imaging software.

You no doubt noticed the little "kicks" under the Offbeat Ideal name. You may have thought "huh?". Let me explain.

Offbeat Ideal Photography is a fundraising outreach of KICKS Ministries. All profit from every Offbeat Ideal sale goes to help reach kids all around the world though our non-profit, educational television program, "KICKS Club". Profit also goes to KICKS Ministries' and its other outreaches including KICKS Adoption, as well as many more.

Just know that when you purchase an Offbeat Ideal item, you're helping to make a positive impact on KIDS the world over!

Hello everyone! Thanks for stopping by. This little area here is where you will get the latest news updates about Offbeat Ideal. I've been working quite a bit on the new site while at the same time trying to take some new photographs. We've got some exciting things coming up soon.

I've recently acquired a couple old Kodak Duaflex cameras and have been shooting some "Through the Viewfinder" shots. You can see the first collection on the website now.
My late Grandfather was a photographer in his day. I've got some old original slides of some amazing photos of Europe. I'll be scanning these and offering prints! We'll be calling it the "True Vintage" collection. Be on the lookout!
Summer is coming and that means lots of great shooting oppurtunities so be on the lookout for some new collections.
