Article PhotoDid you know that the Kingdom of God is for your kids? People don't often think of it that way. Yet, some don't even know that the Kingdom of God is for them. The Bible says in Romans 14:17 that the Kingdom of God is "righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost" In that scripture it makes it clear as it states that it's not, 'meat and drink', meaning, it's not "Natural"... Romans 14:17 brings out the greek word, "basileia" defining the kingdom of God. This word means God's rule. Making it clear that the kingdom of God is, God's rule! It is true, the Kingdom of God is for our kids! It is His desire that our children as well as ourselves experience His rule of 'righteousness, and peace, and joy..." As we call KICKS Club by name, we find that we are referring to the Kingdom of God for His kids. These are kids we are called to bring the message of Jesus Christ to. KICKS Club is an acronym for, KIDS IN CHRIST THE KINGS SERVICE. Kids of God's kingdom! 1 Corinthians 4:20 states that, "the Kingdom of God is not in word, but in power." God's kingdom has come to us and to our children through Jesus and is God's realm and His rule. It is His reign as Lord here on this earth and is the rule of His royalty and supreme authority. The Kingdom of God is speaking to us that He has rule for us in the here and now and it is speaking of God's divine rule of power. A kingdom is describe to be; a realm under the control of one, in this case, God's rule and dominion in our lives working in us, and through us. His rule is the realm of blessing and not cursing. Abundance and not lack. Healing not disease. Salvation and His glorious promises that has been purchased for us through the blood of Jesus. His rule is over the kingdom of darkness, which is Satan's domain. Satan's kingdom is existent it just has no power over those who live and seek and go after the Kingdom of God, who has brought us into the kingdom of light.

Colossians 1:13-14,20, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven."

Through Jesus Christ we have been delivered from the kingdom of satan and translated into the Kingdom of God. We are of a different kingdom than that which is of the world. We live by a different set of rules and authority. That is God's divine blessing through the blood of Jesus. This is what the Bible means when it says that we are in the world but not 'of it'. We can live in a realm where satan has been defeated by Christ. He has not been removed from the earth yet but, he will be at the second coming of Christ.

The Lord is waiting to put Satan away right along with his kingdom and those who chose his kingdom over the kingdom of God because He wants as many who will chose Him. He wants us to evangelize and reach those with the message of His kingdom that they may be partakers of it with us. He wants those who He desires and fashions in the womb to be born in the earth to spend eternity with Him. Until then, we have His divine rule and authority right here in the now because we live by His way of doing things. We live by His divine authority in our lives. He wants us to receive the blessing that He has brought our way through the victory of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He wants us to spread the news. He wants this all of us, and for our children too.

He is our saviour from the kingdom rule of satan. Adam and Eve gave their rule on this earth, their dominion over to the darkness of the devil in the Garden of Eden when they sinned and rebelled against God's word to them. He gave dominion in the earth to man and man gave it to satan. Jesus came as a man, and walked in authority on this earth, never turning over anything, never sinning, always doing what the Father said do, and fulfilled the rule of God on this earth. In Satan's kingdom, everything ends in death. It is the principle rule of darkness. Sin is the darkness of Satan's kingdom and sin produces death. Satan's rule is sin and death and it is a law that regulates his way of doing things. As Jesus died on the cross as a sinless man, he conquered the rule of the kingdom of darkness, the rule of this kingdom in death once and for all, for us!

He didn't conquer that rule for God, or as God for Himself. God had already put satan out of the kingdom of heaven for his uprising. God had dominated satan from the beginning. He came to this earth and when death through Herod tried to stop Him, He moved out of the way. He came to this earth and brought healing to those who were sick and hurting. He even 'raised' from the dead and showed His power and rule over the kingdom of darkness. People said He was of satan and He stated that 'a kingdom can't be divided against itself or it will fall'. He was making it clear that He was bringing 'life', abundant life, and that the power of death and the curse of death and destruction was not His kingdom or way of doing things. He didn't have to die on a cross and raise from the dead for Himself to dominate death. He already dominated death, but man, who He created was being destroyed by death. He came and conquered the kingdom of death by living and walking above it and blessing those who believed.
