Your family will love this cheesy, Italian dish. And your kids can spend some fun time in the kitchen helping you stuff the shells.
What You'll Need:
- 2 lbs lean ground beef
- spaghetti sauce (1 lg. jar)
- jumbo shells (2 boxes)
- cottage cheese, small curd (2, 16 oz.)
- shredded mozzarella cheese (3, 8 oz. bags)
- parmesan cheese
- oregano
- basil
- parsley
What You Do:
Preheat oven to 375.
Cook shells according to package, half the time (they will finish cooking in oven). Drain.
Cook ground beef. Add spaghetti sauce.
Mix together cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese. Add spices (to taste).
Stuff shells with cheese mixture, spread evenly in shallow baking dishes.
Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, cover with ground beef-sauce.
Bake for approx. 45 minutes, or until bubbly.
