These peanut butter, chocolate, and oatmeal cookies are delicious!
One of Elmer’s favorites! This recipe is great for kids to help with.
They’ll love spooning out the mixture onto the wax paper.

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Need:

• 2 cups sugar
• 3 Tbsp. cocoa
• ½ cup milk
• 1 stick butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 2 ½ cups oatmeal
• ½ cup peanut butter
• wax paper

 

Directions:

Lay out wax paper.
Mix sugar, cocoa, and milk in saucepan.
Add butter, stirring until melted, on medium heat.
Bring mixture to a slight boil (sides will pull in and middle will begin to bubble).
Add vanilla and remove from heat.
Add the peanut butter, stirring until it has melted, then add the oatmeal. Stir until all the oatmeal is covered.
Spoon out on wax paper and allow to harden (2-3 hrs).
