Wrong Driver Installed

Have you ever wanted to print something on your computer and gotten the error message "Wrong Driver Installed"? You end up having to install the correct driver to get it to work right. You know sometimes our lives can feel like the wrong driver is installed. It's seems like no matter what you do it's not right or it doesn't come out the way you wanted. So many times it is a driver problem. I'm sure you have heard the saying "God is my co-pilot" you see it on license plate frames and bumper stickers. I got to thinking one day perhaps that is the problem so many people face, they have the wrong driver installed we need to switch seats. If we let God be our pilot then things will improve considerably in our lives. We should stop trying to be in control instead, turn total control over to God. He is much more able to pilot our lives than we are. The Word of God is the road map for our life and God has the perfect route for us to travel. When we use our faith and seek His wisdom concerning our life He will lead us around all the pot holes and detours that the enemy would like to frustrate and delay us with. So lets get the right driver installed and get on with the plan God has for us. :-)

"For A Limited Time Only"

Have you ever seen the advertisement "FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY"? I think we should have that stamped into our minds concerning our children. If you have children, then God has entrusted you with one or more of his masterpieces to love and care for. If we were given the responsibility to look after a piece of work that a great artist painted I'm sure we would seek out all the knowledge available so we would do a good job. Sadly though, so many parents raise their children without using the greatest instruction manual available, the Word of God.

God's Word is the primary source to bring up healthy, well adjusted, well mannered, respectful children. Children that love God and share God's love with those they come in contact with not only as children but also adults. The other day at breakfast my 2 1/2 year old son out of nowhere quoted a scripture that we had been working on word for word. He said as very plainly, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5,6. With that Word tucked inside his spirit I'm confident that whatever decisions he will need to make in his life will be made by trusting God and using his faith, knowing that God is directing all that he does.

This weekend while you are washing and waxing that nice car to protect it from the elements, think about some ways you can protect your children with the Word of God so they can live happy prosperous lives in the center of God's will. Remember our children are our responsibility to train and raise up in the things of God. After all they are only young children "FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY".

Another Wonderful Week!

Well it's been another wonderful week here at the old KICKS Club corral. We have been busy rounding up new members and hearing all the great things God is doing in lives all around the world. We have been receiving so many emails from all around the world that it's exciting to see were the next one is from. I was thinking just how wonderful our God is, He is just as powerful in the UK as He is in the US. Whatever He does for one He will gladly do for another, if we receive it done by faith. Faith is the force that puts the things of God into action in our lives. God wants us to use our faith so we can receive all his best. Mustard seed faith is all we need according to God's word, that simply means speak God's word, speak faith, and you will be the next shinning example of the power of God. Gotta go for now.
