Mom's, Work, & Time!

As a mom in full time ministry it is the most difficult thing to look at "time" and seem to fit everything in that small little hour glass! How do I get it all done and go to bed and get a decent amount of sleep, especially with five kids under 2 years old!

As a CEO over a international television ministry with BIG vision, (KICKS Club), our goal is to do a new show each week for kids and do a new "family" show at least twice a month for Golden Eagle Broadcasting and Skyangel (KidWis). We also are planning segments and taping them for a kids network we are believing for. We write all our own music, mix it, and record it in our own studios. We do our own music videos and edit them as well as our shows. We design our own shows, have a staff, and pastor a church that meets various times weekly for our staff! We run meetings and still have to keep up the faith for the financial supply and the growing vision of where we are called to go to for the kids of this nation and even the world! Now add to that daily dirty diapers, baby-food, mac and cheese and chicken nuggets, bottles, laundry, picking up toys, going to the zoo, BATH TIME, laughing, loving, and living the abundant life as a family without sacrificing our family blessings!

First practicalities are a must- My office is out of my home! Our editing suites, our recording studio is where we "have to live", or rather "our home is where they have to be"!

Secondly, without my 27 year old son and daughter (daughter-in-law) -, & my best friend who loves my kids as her own, and a staff who understands my kids are priority so they can pick up the slack for me, it would be impossible! We are in this together! When my husband and I decided to adopt, they knew they were to be a part of it and had to answer a call too.

Thirdly, the Lord made it clear to all of us that we would bless the lives of our kids by not sending them to any babysitters or daycare! That we were to keep our kids right beside us in the ministry making it a family endeavor and family fun. How can puppets be anything else? So, my office sits right in the middle of their play, and they run to me at my computer, or editing studio with their love and smiles and kisses! They are a part of our travels to on location tapings and more. My break? I take them for a daily ride in the conversion van while they love going with me and falling asleep at the same time. I turn on music and we praise and pray, or have my phone meetings while I drive. (My phone meetings have increased! :)

As for time? I admit, I have taken this up with the Lord and asked Him the big "HOW?" He has ministered to my spirit and given me peace by leading me in these things below.

He has lead me to;
"Cast my care upon Him. Don't hang onto what I see "DIDN"T" get done as the clock clicks later into the night or rather, earlier into the morning! Allow Him to plan the days I live and the things I do! Let go of my agenda's and anything else that will cause a care. Stay focused on His way of doing things and not mine."

He has revealed and ministered to me;
"That He has promised His power for me that He will redeem time in each of my days! After-all, He is the author of time. He set it into motion with His spoken word! The day and the night- He knows how to empower my days with His redemption for every drop of sand in the hour glass of time that seems to continuously run! My Father, the author of time is in my life for He has everything in His order, His concern and, "He perfects that which concerns me". He is the Lord of time in my life and it is His responsibility to empower every minute with His anointing to get the job done while I spread His love to my kids that they will never turn from His gracious goodness. My God knows, IF I DO THIS FOR HIM, HE must DO THIS FOR ME!!!!"

You know, it was the Lord that took 2 fish and five loaves, all centered around a child and blessed it and multiplied it! He will do that for our children and for us as parents! Well, it wasn't just the bread and fish He multiplied that day! IT WAS TIME! A culmination of time is what He gave to thousands of people that day so I could see that if He did it for them, He will do it for me! He took 12 men and feed 15,0000 people at dinner time!!! AT DINNER TIME! It didn't take all day to feed 15,000 with 12! It only took a moment in that hour glass of time. A moment that was empowered by His blessing! He promises the same for us as the Loving Shepherd that He is!

MY MOMENTS, EVERY MINUTE, EVERY DROP OF SAND IS MULTIPLIED, AND EMPOWERED WITH HIS BLESSING! That's me as a mom! Moms, families, receive His blessing today to redeem your hour glass of time with His culmination and empowerment! His love empowers even the moments in our every-days! He is Lord of time!
